Surfcasting, Myrtle beach

:jump1:I AM going to be in Myrtle Beach SC for a week next week. My family rented a house on the beach. I think there is room to pack my tackel boxes and 2 poles. (via we are driving down) And i was wondering for some tips or pointers as far as bait, plugs????Anything, I have never fished of the beach before. Are there stripers down there? What type of fish will i catch? I am planning on fishing at night right on the beach in front of the house we rented.

My guess is probably not stripers, but maybe drum, blues etc..

Google some bait shops down there.
