WOW =awsome = huge ,wild ,mountains,glaiser,fish,wildlife ,gods country, and living its self...for me i know what heaven looks k like. i could talk about it for a wk .but i,ll keep it short... stayed in soldadonta ak for wk .it WAS A NOT QUITE THE HILTON. but the fishing was everwherein short day1 drive from ancorage, visters and veiws are unrealonway to canp to camp on lower kenia rv ... arrive at 2pn on time..mon went to homer but missed boat by 15min .wtf capt did not weight for us its sucks ,but hired a boat iand said fuc it lets go halihit fishing we caught fish in 250ft of fast moving current using penn 4/0 and matching rods we fished w/ 80lb fireline a12/0 circle hook and to get it to the bottom a3or 4lb lead weight....u had about 10 to 30 sec if u knew how to do it .but on almost every drop u had a fish mine first drop was a20 lb cod that was quickly cutr up for bait..the key was to keep it on the bottom......on every drop peaople caught halibit, cod ,skate the size of 1/2 sheets of plywood and 10 to 65lb halibitseveryone caught therelimit of 2 per man .our group had about 2o for the 6hr trip herrin was the bait on the day all the fish went to the fish house...its a 2hr trip from homer to soldatar .........i need to rest finger for the rest of the 10 days please replay if intrestedin more info.....

Spent 3 days fishing out of Homer, LOVED it!!! Spent my time chasing Silvers on the river.... I wanna buy a small cabin near there for vacations!! Actually looked at a couple places.. Maybe next year...

As long as the pics are 800x800 or smaller in size and under 1MB (they should be), you can attach them in the thread. When you post or reply, type your message and before hitting submit, go down to the "Additional Options" section, second box Manage Attachments, and a popup window will open with the broswe bar to allow you to upload one or two attachments. Once you have selected the 1 or 2 files from your hard drive, click on Upload and they will go into the post after you hit submit...

Looking forward to seeing the Alaska pics :love:
