As promised, I worked up a near perfect tautog shot for you and the legions of tog fans on this site.

He's a Cutty boy with great markings. There's a story behind the image; I must have inadvertently spun the dial on the shutter speed and had it boosted up to 1/800 of a second at an ISO equivalent of 500, the flash fired but was not in sync with the shutter speed so the image was cropped by a darkened frame, however, the tog was dead nuts in the center and I managed to capture some remarkable detail. I love happy accidents. Enjoy.

That's a great shot - I was actually out fishing early this morning with Dr. Timmy O'Nitis himself, the famous Irish tog specialist - I'll have to show him that one tomorrow morning
