Cork Flooring
I'm going to face lift my basement this fall and was thinking of using cork flooring.
It's about 350 sq/ft on the bottom floor of our house and will be installed on a concrete slab. I know I need to install a vapor barrier. Any thoughts or comments from the experts? thanks, -spence |
Might want to think about a partially recycled product: http://freestyleflooring.com/Commercial.php
Little on the expensive side but I put it down in my basement and am satisfied. I had the old asphalt tiles and no requirement to remove, just laid right over. Since the product is rubber no worry about water. Comes in 18"x18" interlocking tiles so goes down quickly. They have offices in Avon and you can save 15% by picking up, saves the shipping costs. |
