ivanputski 09-03-2009 09:25 PM

Dont know why its being held in the cape when narragansett beer is the major sponsor... I guess I'm just upset its not in 'gansett since its waaaay closer to me, and honestly, I probably wont be able to make it to the cape...

Rob Rockcrawler 09-04-2009 03:26 AM

nightfighter 09-04-2009 06:41 AM

Gonna need a lot more than one.... Currently we're in fourth place and falling behind the pace.

When I registered I didn't put striped-bass down as a club. If I am luck7 enough to pull in a fish over 36 can I weigh it for the club?

Didn't catch it yet. I was just wondering if I could weigh a fish for the club or not. What would be considered a weighable fish at this point?

BassDawg 09-04-2009 12:29 PM

i believe we are looking at closer to 48# and UP

times two, or at least one 50+#'er and a coupla
46+#'ers to take BACK The Cup.

be a DAMN SHAME to let some fiberglass jocks
seal the deal on feesh that don't count in the 1st place.

Possibly one of the best B-D lines ever...

ProfessorM 09-04-2009 01:13 PM

boat fish count a little bit

JohnR 09-04-2009 01:17 PM

Figure 39-40 from shore 46 and up from a boat.

POUNDS

Chatter, chatter, chatter. All I can say is we're not done yet :tooth: but there is a lot of work to do and not much time to do it.

Isn't Gansett brewed in upstate NY?

I guess Gansett is the closest thing we have now to Schaeffer :yak6:

ivanputski 09-04-2009 02:33 PM

you said it... boat fish count "a little"... Catch a 50 from a boat, then catch one from the surf... and ask yourself which was a more memorable accoplishment

Mike P 09-04-2009 02:35 PM

Here we go again :rollem: :wall:

BigFish 09-04-2009 02:46 PM

I will take either one....both a great accomplishment all the jokes aside! Wouldn't mind a tri-fecta.....1 surf, 1 boat and 1 from the yak!!!

ProfessorM 09-04-2009 02:54 PM

Like Lawrence spoke, who would complain about either accomplishment, both a memorable task

Rockport24 09-04-2009 02:54 PM

yeah I wouldn't mind either way.... as long as I found it and not a charter captain! then I just reeled it in ya know?

Thats the key in my book, doing the leg work yourself. Pretty much a wash in the effort aspect. Sorry Mike, I'm done:uhuh: Good luck S-B.com

Hey, look at it this way--at least there aren't as many people here who'd want you arrested for keeping a big bass as there are on SOL
