So many tragic stories, Hesh. :(
So many heroes that day that gave their lives to save others. So many lives ruined. We had 2 young friends die, one was to be married the the next weekend. Eight years later their parents are still in mourning. My son-in-law,a 767 pilot took off from Kennedy non stop to LA. at 8:00 AM the same time the hijackers left, there were rumors of 2 additional hijacked 767's were still in the air after the 4 had crashed. We didn't know he was safe until 11:30 AM. Ingrained in our minds forever. |
