I can't believe it's been 2 years.
He left us all way too young and is dearly missed. John was one in a million for sure.

Thanks for posting that link, Slip - it's been on my mind for the last couple of days

I was out on the rocks at the last place we fished together in the wee hours of Tuesday morning looking up at a dark sky full of bright stars

Without a doubt Senor Habs was one of them

Habs was a good guy for sure! Glad I had the opportunity to get to know him a little, wish I had the opportunity to know him better.

He's around. I was fishing Monday night an all of a sudden he popped into my head. Strange in that I really hadn't thought about him lately.

I miss your smiling face John. You were a true friend to me.
