Discount Eels at Maridee Bait and Tackle
I don't know if this is allowed or not but given she's a widow in her 80's I thought it might slide.
I got a call from the folks at Maridee Bait and Tackle. The eel guy gave Mary a bunch of extra eels in the delivery. She's selling them at the discounted price of $1.49 and they asked me to get the word out. Anything helps these days. Maridee is in Narragansett on Point Judith Road. 401-789-5190. |
nice folks... crappy hours though. I think they close pretty early.
Last year, $1.50 was the retail rate I paid... thanks for the heads up.
My regular price is $1.40 each or $16 a doz.
& she got them for free. |
That's a long ride from Narragansett Mike and I don't think you can get that price anywhere around here but maybe so. And she didn't get them all for free. In any case, why are you dissing an 85 year old widow running a bait and tackle herself?

i can wonder sometimes if people really think before they post.
ok i dont get this how is it people get them for that??? every shop down here is 2.00 each yet up the road a lil bit its cheaper by far.....
$1.50 in CT is the norm, discounts in bulk
I try to support mary whenever I can... 1.49 is a good price (for RI) I have 2 good CT spots... 1.35 each, and one where I stock up since they are .99 each... I still cant believe it, and hope it stays that way!!! 2.00 per eel in RI sucks...
agreed ... 1.50 is the norm in CT... you cant get away with charging 2.00 per eel in CT... theres just no way. |
1.75 up this way.
To bad eels don't count ;)
I have been paying $2.00 per eel all year in RI. Warwick, SoCo and Northern RI. All $2 per.
1.75 at ol captn's place...
