This tells all. It's unbeleivable that one can become caloused at the thought that 25 pounders were being thought of as "insignificant".

Nice catches guys, although I'm a bit taken back by the elitist anti eel sentiment. :laugha:

Good going guys. Nice fish. Tall guy convention I suspect as that is why I wasn't called as I don't reach the minimum height requirement .I got skunked last nite down the way from there. There one day gone the next.

Pound for pound the best fighting size bass.... 22-25lb, 42" fish, IMHO!

$2.49 @ Ocean State Job Lot. Sixth year now, all the teeth rusted off probably un-hooked more fish than all of the Van Stal pliers owned by the board members here.

Theyr'e perfect.:uhuh:

Stop wishin' go fishin'.

Only pliar I use. Hit 'em with some penetrating lube every few trips... work like a charm.

I have some cheap steel pliers that are all rusty and I have had them for years. I guarantee if I had a pair of $$$$ pliers they'd be down in a jetty.
