The #1 person to make millions out of the Olympics is no other then Valerie Jarrett President Obama's senior advisor, a long time cronie which started with then corrupt Richard Daley. She had groomed Obama for the Chicago senate. She was also in charge of his campaign to be President.

Remember Tony Rezko? Rezko donated to Obama's campaign, Obama becomes U.S. senator, he and Rezko's wife, Rita, bought adjacent pieces of property from a doctor in Chicago's Kenwood neighborhood -- a deal that has dogged Obama. The doctor sold the mansion to Obama for $1.65 million -- $300,000 below the asking price. Rezko's wife paid full price -- $625,000 -- for the adjacent vacant lot. The deals closed in June 2005. Six months later, Obama paid Rezko's wife $104,500 for a strip of her land, so he could have a bigger yard. At the time, it had been widely reported that Tony Rezko was under federal investigation. Questioned later about the timing of the Rezko deal, Obama called it "boneheaded" because people might think the Rezkos had done him a favor.

Back to Jarrett.
She has dibs in property that is slated for demolision, Grove Parc, a ghetto. She also is President and chief executive in a company named Habitat Company which developes and manages of residential, Condo's and Low Income Housing. Habitat Company stands to get the contract for any development of Grove Parc if the Olympics come to town.

Why the Republicans didn't go after Obama during the Presidential campaign on this issue is beyond me. Obama was involved by being the attorney for several developement companies that dealt with low income housing that all had done shady work gone bust and one of the companies was owned by Tony Rezko and Valerie Jarrett.

although this may appear shady, its really how the business world works. Wheeling and dealing is how you get ahead and back room deals are the smart way to do business. I cant fault Obama on this. Not being sarcastic, honest reply.

So years b/f Obama was even thinking of running for Pres. she was smart enough to know that he would eventually get elected and decided to buy properties in an area that would eventually get purchased for the Olymipics?

Reading some of these posts is better than watching comedians on tv.

Maybe some Republican senators should start calling for a special prosecuter.

But Paul, might Obama have been pushing a little harder for the Olympics in Chicago knowing full well that many of his friends and donors would benefit?

I doubt it b/c there would be a direct link between Obama and her. If he wanted to help her make some $, I am sure that there are politicians he knows to make it happen.

As an aside, the US tv networks pay by far the highest amount for the tv rights yet the Euro centric international Olympic committee takes the US for granted. I like the Olympics but would wish the US would tell them to go screw.

They did not plan it years back that the Olympics would be in Chicago nor did they plan that the properties may come in to play, back then. But, with the opportunity of having the Olympics in Chicago it would have made the ghetto land worth a lot more.

And Obama would not be President in 2016, also take in concideration the people he hangs with. He didn't go there for the people of Chicago. go back to the early 90's and follow the paper trail, he, Jarrett, Rezko and others took advantage of the poor blacks.

What was it that JFK said? "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you could do for me."

It didn't go quite that way but it is what he ment.

so let me get this right. The planning was started many years b/f Obama was elected, the city decided that it wanted the olympics and Obama is only supported it b/c Jarrett was going to have some of her property taken for it?

The only thing missing from this scheme is how the Dems used the Jews (who secretly control the universe) to alter space-time and transport Obama's fetus from Kenya into a woman in Hawaii so he could be born on American soil and become US President :laugha:
