reel seat
 

Hi Guys
i glued a reel seat on this weekend and after inspection i think i glued it in backwards, the adjusting nut is towards the tip of the rod rather then the butt end. did i just waste a good blank and reel seat.:smash:

Lock up..lock down?????????????
 

Your okay Drum... the seats can go either way.. it's all in your preference.. Personally I like the adjusting nut on the top for conventional and on the bottom for spinning.. but it's all in what you like...
And look at it this way... you'll never forget to check it again.. :bl2:

thanks for the reply fishaddict, i did'nt know if one end of the reel seat is tapered or not. it went on just fine but i was concerned about the over all effect it could have on the rod.
