S-B Pumpkin Contest - Little Family Fun

First Annual S-B Pumpkin Contest. If it is successful, maybe there will be a SECOND annual contest.

What prompted this? Seeing a contest on another (non-fishing) site and thinking that could be cool and that S-B has had threads on carvings in the past...

WTH is S-B doing a Pumpkin Carving Contest for?
Because it may be more fun for the S-B'ers Family than just the S-B'er and nuttin wrong with that. Especially for all the people with Kids :btu:

First Annual S-B pumpkin carving contest! Win a plug or two (note to plug sponsors, would you like to donate a plug or two :hihi: ? )

Ripped this idea from another site (Slickdeals.net - The best coupons, lowest prices, and hottest deals.)

Rules:

You only have a little more than a week, so get to it and starting carving that pumpkin!

Entries can be as creative as you want, but they must be PG13 or tamer. Also, entries must have a placard somewhere that mentions S-B 2009 in order to verify authenticity. After we get some entries, we’ll host them anonymously in the forum for a vote.

The rules:

1. Get a pumpkin.
2. Carve it.
3. Take a few digital pictures of that pumpkin, and submit your entry.
4. A placard with the words “S-B 2009″ must be included in the picture to qualify for voting.
5. Do NOT post it in the forums. We’ll post the pics anonymously. Submissions must be made by 11:59:59 PM EST, Nov. 1st. E-mail to JohnR AT striped-bass.com
6. Starting Nov. 2nd on or abouts, we’ll all vote on the best pumpkin carving!
7. Only one entry per person/member, please - this can be you, the S-B member, significant other, or your offspring that submit a pumpkin. A group of pumpkins that create a theme can be submitted as one entry. You can choose to have your entry lit or unlit. Once an entry is submitted, it can not be changed.
8. Please do not post pictures of your submission in any thread, or it will be disqualified.
9. The rules are subject to update for clarification if necessary.

I don't know what is more strange, some of the pictures you post or your consistent ability / craftiness in finding them :rotf2:
