Snowblower advice needed
Time to get serious. What can you steer me to, or away from? Starting to get edumacated about single stage vs two stage, etc. Would consider Niko's machine on classifieds, but want to make sure I have done my homework. What advice do you have? Thanks
|
my advice - buy my snowblower. it's big, it's bad, it's a bargain. it's got all the features you want in a snowblower, hell i'll put some rodholders on it for you. seriously - if you want to come down and check it out you are more than welcome to. good luck however you go

Ariens is all I will say, mine is 20 plus years old and still a horse.

2 Stage a must, 10HP (min 8), 24-26" cut, and electric start a must.
I have an MTD now for about 10years and no problems or costs except for annual oil change. Only thing I wish I had is levers to control the shute direction/orientation. Niko's looks like a deal. |
I have a heavy duty model from Simplicity that will eat an Ariens for breakfast without even a burp. That said, however, I've seen your house and I think the typical 8 HP, 24" cut Ariens, Husqvarna or Toro would be just fine for you.

7-8 HP OHV, 2 stage. Lot of good deals on CraigsList.

Mac is right, try there.
If not then get Niko to plow you out |
Picked up an Ariens from a guy here in town today. Snowing out now...

Q: Why did the snowman have a smile on his face?
A: He saw the snowblower was coming..... |
Pm me with a price and details Niko. I should get one.
