Some good luck pluggin in Nighfighter's backyard tonight--36", 17.5 pounder----finally able to deliver the promise made to my young Cambodian employee waiting for " a big fish"--she has been waiting all season....and here we are in November!

So even though baseball is done...we'll keep wetting our lines up North!

Found a couple there today after work....mid high twenties, as in inches. Latest I have ever caught locally

Ross are those boat fish? I have been wearing a stripe for a week now. Quiet in my usual spots, I think the last storm really did a number on the beach. Water was still dirty and weedy on Tuesday. Last year my last fish was Dec 13.

I gotta say I'm impressed
every year I hear about fish being caught into November, but this wasn't one of these years up until now

That's a nice North Shore fish any time of year! November just makes it even better!

So my gal in the office walks in, opens up the red cooler and screams!! _she was very excited...

She cooked the fish with skin & scales on..stuffed with lemon grass, herbs, ---and prepares a Tamarind, Garlic, sweet sour sauce--she fed 12 members of her family with that 36" er..and brought in samples today for all to try--what a treat and different style of cooking. Very moist, tasty treat!

That's very cool. Sounds like a terrific recipe too.
