I like Nebe's idea. I remember getting those as a kid, something special about those 2 dollar bills. Out of the ordinary..Helps mark the event in your memory.

Tooth Fairy Funny
When my daughter was losing teeth, I told her how to get double cash. One night put a white bead in the tooth bag, the next the real tooth. Slip the Fairy a slug.
The first morning she came running downstairs yelling "It Worked, Dad it worked!!" Then in a couple of minutes my wife was yelling something completely different... Never got to the second night.... |
as we were growing up
each of us kids questioned
whether there really was a tooth FAIRY  well............ In my eldest brother's room was this odd door and at the top was a set of very small footprints going to the top about ye BIG |___| and the story went... that long ago the tooth fairy accidentally stepped into the ink well when LANDING and these are the tracks to prove it and of course after the explanation of what an ink well was.... we bought it HOOK, LINE, and Sinker :uhuh: :grins: |
Well,,,,, How did the little guy like the Van Staal.....:soon: :rotf2::rotf2::rotf2:
|
How can you put a value on the love of your son:smash::grins:
|
5 bucks in my house.
|
What's the going rate for a gold crowned tooth? If high enough bid I've got the pliers ready to pull.
|
1$ is fine. Kids are spoiled today.
|
I have no answere for you but its a real cool thing to have to think about. :)
In my day it was a coin and a quarter was considered real good! Most often it was a dime that could be slipped into a little slit in the corner of the envelope and the tooth removed from the same little slit right along the fold. That way the kid will think it must be magic if he seals it in an envelope himeslef before going to sleep. next day , tooth gone , money there in the same unopened envelope. :) |
Spoiled my son as his first three teeth had to be extracted in one sitting. Those commanded a premium, three new dollar coins a piece! But the day was more memorable for the both of us as we then went to Castle Rock and caught half a dozen fish on chunks! This was before S-B.com, and he was talking about that day (the fishing) just this summer!
