master braid?

You like it best for jigging the canal.... w/ an Emblem Pro? 50lb enough? Are there other choices I should consider (I have used whip, stealth, pp, fireline, spectron...) Also, any good places to get a large spool 1200+ yds? Thanks :devil2:

I like Cortland Spectron 50#. You can buy it directly from Cortland in 1200' spools. Cortland Communications

Great stuff. The 50# test probably has over 80# break strength, and it has very good abrasion resistance. I use it on conventionals, but it reportedly works very well with spinning reels, too.

Try Amazon.com for bulk spools--I recently scored a 2200 yard spool of 50# Big Game braid there.
