Swing Vote
 

Now that the healthcare bill has passed for debate by what is called a "Swing Vote," should it be investigated as a crime,(bribe) since in order to get that crucial vote a state was offered monies for a certain state. The claim is that Senator Mary Landrieu was the deciding factor to pass the bill to go to debate. If it is true that her state of Louisiana, is to be given federal dollars for buying her vote regardless if a dollar or millions, it should be investigated by the FBI. I see this is no different then the X- governor of Illinois, Blagojevick taking a bibe for a senate seat. This one vote could cost the tax payer thousands.

I agree it's a bribe, but that's the way they do it, supposedly claiming it's for their constituents benefit. :rolleyes:
She could care less about what the rest of America needs,the only recourse is for the voters to vote her out. :(

Heard on the news this evening that the state of Louisiana will get 300,000,000.00 for medicare. Now that five other senators say they will not vote for it what will it cost for their vote?

Are you guys telling me that Congresspeople give their votes to direct taxpayer money to their states?
