Here kitty kitty...

...I mean fishy fishy.

Saltheart 11-26-2009 07:35 PM

This is disgusting. Why anyone would want to see this is beyond me.

Its mice being torn to shreds in a fish tank of piranheas. Save yourself the gross out.

I'm surprised Goose would opost this , email Michael Vick with this stuff instead of posting it here.

ecduzitgood 11-26-2009 08:23 PM

Different strokes for different folks...but I'm glad I read your post before I clicked on the video Saltheart because I am no fan of watching the helpless get picked on or in this case eaten. Thats NOT entertainment in my eyes.

The family and I just watched it together and now we are taking a walk to chop up some neighbors with hatchets.Happy Thanksgiving!!!

cool, don't forget to take your video camera. I watched it as far as the thing got wet and then I deduced what was going to happen and shut it off. I'm demented enough I don't need any help.

Goose 11-27-2009 09:08 AM

I hope this didn't offend anyone. Its not like its my doing. It happens so fast imo there can't be much pain invovled. On the other hand we watch croc's on discovery eating they're prey...a slow agonizing death, not to mention poor pogies:D(natural vs mans stupidity..I know)
But seriously...what socitys says is ok for kids to veiw in cartoon fashion at 8pm on a sunday night is NUTTS. Where's the disgust

Mike, I respect what ya said, I'll take it off if you think the site is better without it.

cheferson 11-27-2009 09:21 AM

Whats the big deal??? Most of us stick a hook through an eels head and cast it while still alive for an hour for recreation, right???

Raider Ronnie 11-27-2009 09:42 AM

I thought it was pretty cool !

PRBuzz 11-27-2009 10:19 AM

As a kid I used to have 2 piranha, then one day I can home from school and had only 1!

Never fed adult mice, just pinkies as they made the water less dirty: bite sized.

JohnnyD 11-27-2009 11:20 AM

I don't really get the big deal either.

Large mouth bass have been known to eat mice. And what's the difference between the above and people that buy a rat or guinea pig to feed to their snake?

FishermanTim 11-27-2009 11:31 AM

It's all fine and dandy until you see what happens to the bait you are "live-lining". If you are squeemish about how piranha feed, maybe you shouldn't be baiting hooks with live bait anymore.
Exactly what do they think was going to happen? Probably the same thing that a bluefish does to bunker or eels.

Lots of pythons (prefer to) eat birds, got some great action shots of my 12' Burmese striking and coiling around a pigeon....biggest meal was something like a 8lb chicken....found it as fresh road kill.

Anyone seen Tweety Bird lately...........?

JohnnyD 11-29-2009 04:13 PM

Seems kind of silly that the video was removed.

Not much different than dropping goldfish in the tank to feed the piranhas.

justplugit 11-29-2009 04:22 PM

If I believed in reincarnation,
the last thing i would want to come back as would be a bait fish.
