Acoustic Cover songs?

hey guys, some of you know I play in a cover band that does a lot of party rock type tunes, but I'm also gonna try to get out and do some solo acoustic cover gigs so I need some song ideas

So, what type of songs would you like to hear if you were kickin back with a couple of brews at a bar
I'm thinking stuff like:
U2
Tom Petty
John Mellencamp
acoustic Zepp stuff (maybe hey hey what can I do)

also some modern stuff too, like Foo Fighters, Kings of Leon, Daughtry....

whatadaya think?

I bet I could come up with an acoustic version of "I'm a Liar" by Rollins Band!

here's a you-tube allstar doing an acoustic "killing in the name"

I used to play an acoustic version of bring it on home by led zep years ago. The rhythm guitar in the verse section, after it kicks in, sounds awesome on acoustic. I'd be happy to email your guitar player on how to play it.

For acoustic rock songs, look to the Foo. This is a great version of Everlong, but everything off the Skin and Bones cd is acoustic.
