What is it? No matches when I googled it......

Swimmer 12-17-2009 09:50 PM

Isn't just a cutter/grinder depending on the wheel that is affixed to it?

nightfighter 12-17-2009 09:58 PM

Don't know Frank.... Makita used to make a small trim saw that was the cat's azz... worked great for trimming clapboards and around windows, stuff like that where other saws couldn't fit. And was small enough for a toolbelt pouch. Is why I asked, and googled....

Yes it's a trim saw, dates back to around 1980's to mid 1990's. Rated to cut 60 lf. of 1/4" pine. One of my carpenters had one and liked it.

Ross, this is probably the same saw you are thinking of. Takes the 9.6 v batteries if I remember right. Not sure how it is to find blades now. (Sears may still carry them)

I broke the one I had many yeas back. It paid for itself many times over though convenience wise.

I have the BLADE still sharp an helllll.:smash:
