Anybody steelheading?
 

Just moved up to the Salmon river, and can catch steelhead within 20 minutes from my driveway. Usually a bunch of chatter bout steelhead this time of year here, and wondering if anybodys coming up? Wouldn't mind seeing a few friendly faces.

why did you move away from the salt?

Hey I know a few guys, I will see if they can share their pics. I will be home at eleven.

Wife is from there, still got my camper at the canal though.

My oldest brother took 3 big steelies yesterday in Northern Michigan.

Be up over New Years weekend. Was up a few weeks ago and did very well. Just got a new rod for the new years trip cant wait to use it.

T - O......what town did u move to ?... hows the snow...i,ve been fishing the sr for about 35 yrs .if u like steelhead fishing its a great place to live ,also u have lake o .. and great deer and birds...but u cant smell the salt water.. i c that tyran 19 is there all the time . ty. do u know a fisherman from holden named stony ,he has a drift boat ??? i met him there yrs ago..... t-o if i go back i would like to try to say hi, but it may not be this season....keep in touch on site ....hook up with local fishing site called salmon crazy .com very good info. good luck .... dave laporte

Hey, not true. The Faders have won so many games this year they are not in last place. At this rate, they may be good enough in a couple years to transfer into that zone of mediocrity where they'll be 7-9 and 8-8 for another decade.

I'm in Parish Dave, 8 miles to river. Snow aint been bad......YET. Don't know Stoney, but think Tynan may know him. Been very cold here so far this winter.

Dave, I have been offered to ride up with him to share gas and use the boat. I hope to take the offer sometime. Mike, you should see Tony's new jacket he bought to fit in. Also if you want to do that day trip I am game in the next couple weeks if we can pull it off?
