Snow and pond

This is pretty neat when you think about it.

I left the net covering it on, and when the temperature dropped this caused it to ice up really fast. Before the snow the entire system was about 95% covered in ice. The snow never melted into the water as it was just sitting on the ice...

Underneath, the entire waterfall/stream system is running happily away.

Skimmer box with the pump in it...

And a hole I cut where the de-ice heater is keeping a hole open in the pond.

Difficult to tell in the last pic, but there's a waterfall operating fine under all that snow.
