Prayers Needed for my Dad!!!
 

Hi All sorry I have not been around for a while, was down home in PA for Thanksgiving and Bambi season. Did manage to get a nice 8 point buck this year.

On another note - my dad had to go to the emergency room the other night as he had blood in his urine, he has a kidney stone that has not passed yet. But when they did a CAT scan on Him his abdomin was showing some not so good looking Lymph nodes, as well as his prostate was very enlarged. He had me check the spot on his side when I was home and said he had it for about a month, I told him he should get it checked out and not wait. But that's my dad, he is stobborn!!!

He went for a follow up today with his doctor and they are thinking he may have lymphoma!!! Not good, he is going in on Monday for a PET scan and a biopsy and also see if they can get rid of his kindey stone unless it passes before that. He may then have to go for radical surgery from there. So I would like to know if all of my fishing community friends would say a prayer for him.

I will most likely be driving back down to PA tomorrow or in a day or so and will keep you posted, I just really wanted to get a prayer chain started for him right away. Thanks so much everybody.

I'll keep him in my thoughts and prayers.

Done Julie.........I think of your mom and dad on occasion when my mind revisits our stays in Dodge's Hole for so many years. I will think of him more often until he is well.

Felt bad told I ll stop to get coffee 1st if I had to sit 2hrs so they can tell em he has the flu, "for-get-about it!"

He did pass one but the other still sitting high. Although he never indercated any problems, other than $$ and girls. :wall:

Thank you all SO MUCH, keep the prayers going. I am leaving around 3 in the morning to head home and get ahead of the bad weather coming as well. I wish you all a very merry christmas and very safe and heathy holiday season.

I will keep you updates as soon as we know what is going to go on. He is scheduled monday for testing so won't know too much till them.

Please give you loved ones a hug and tell then that you love them. Life is too short!!!!
