Colts
Just when I thought I couldn't hate em anymore, the lay down, allow the Jets to keep a playoff hope alive, and let thos dirtyold b's down in Miami crack some champaign...
Yup! No pride in this! They are gonna let the Jets win!!!! I would not play it like this...the Pats didn't! It was Brady all the way!
I hope the Jets get into the playoffs and wind up knocking out the Colts!
Don't understand the gamemanship here
I vote a new rule in the NFL, if you Sit your uninjured star players and lose the game which has some sort of playoff implications, then you must forfeit the remainder of the season playoffs included. Those Colt's fans have to be beside themselves. :devil2:
You see the look on Mannings face on the sidelines???!!! This is not him....he wants to be in there and the team deserves the right to try and go undefeated! They have played hard and come this far...only to lay down to the Jets?????:smash::smash::smash::wall::wall::wall:
Boo to the Colts, this should be reviewed by the commish
Picked! How would you like to be that kid in there pitching for the Colts??!!! Man this is the worst thing I have seen in awhile!! Manning is dying inside watching this!!!
The fans are booing them!!! The fans deserve an undefeated season if at all possible and it is being taken away from them also!!!! |
Can't wait to see the fan backlash over this! Those fans were robbed and they are gonna say it! What a bad decision!!! I think this is going to beg some bad Karma now....Colts will wash out in their first playoff game...you heard it here first!:uhuh:
Larry,
I agree 1==00% / I never come in this forum ; but Manning is a true competator / I wouldn,t want to cut him off on the way home tonight ;;;:wall: |
They castrated him today!!!! Did anyone see him on the sidelines??? Never seen anything like it! They took a great opportunity away from that team and its fans today!!!! Unbelievable!
Not just him, every 1st stringer offense and defense, were sitting there in just total freaked outness
I just can't believe they would do that. |
Ahhh Big fish "Hopes Jets get in and spoil Colts" Funny!
It`s all just a game to they lay down. :smash: That why I dont take the game seriously, If a pitcher or quarter back throws the game 'for-get-about- it'. |
I wanted him in there so he could get his leg broken or suffer a career ending injury.
WOW.... feel bad for the players and fans....but not polian.
They have altered their destiny...and it is only to lose now!:uhuh:
I have never in my life seen an NFL team take a dive. There's gotta be some gambling connection here. I happen to like Manning, the man looked ready to puke on the sidelines. So were the rest of the players. The team was robbed and their fans were robbed.
I wonder how the '07 season would have ended if the Pats had a little more gas in their tanks when the Superbowl was being played.
You guys are just pissed because its the Jets that they are tanking it too. :hihi: ...and trust me nobody likes to see a New York team fail more than me. With the fact that the Colts have nothing to play for the rest of the season That was the absolute right thing to do...rest everybody and keep them healthy for the games that matter. You can't tell me you didn't get some enjoyment out of Peyton Pouty Face sitting on the side lines...That was awesome. |
don't are who they did it against- it was wrong...eff' the jets - welcome to foxboro :)...

I can't understand this as well. At least start him for a 1/2. This looks bad and I can't see how it helps. They'll have a bye and plenty of rest for the starters.

I think San Diego is the team to beat in the AFC right now......They are clicking on all cylinders.
Winners never quit and quitters never win.I hope it comes backs to bite them in the azz.Seems to me that yes Indy did the PC way of playing the game but it goes against the values of a great game coach is an !@!#@$#@$$#.My .02

[QUOTE= that team laid down and gave up!!!:fury:[/QUOTE]
Larry, I don't think the team laid down at all. Do you think the 2nd stringers wanted to go in and lose it? Quite the opposite I would believe. Now that I've read more about this game after the fact I have no problem with what the coach did. This is my point, the coach made the decision not the players. All players are coached to be game ready whenever their number is called and they are expected to go into the game and execute the game plan and win. The players didn't lay down but the coach decided he didn't want to risk injury when they have their playoff position locked regardless of outcome. What did 16-0 get the Pats that season? He'll be a genious if they win it all again and a goat if they don't. Gutsy either way and somehow I respect him for making a stand for something he believes in. Excellent arm chair quarterback stuff though! |
MC...they are going to lose their first playoff game. The Pats lost that superbowl because they played crappy.....not due to injury or fatigue! You think sitting Manning and his teamates for 20 minutes at the end of a game is going to save them from fatigue?? Come on!:hs:
No it shouldn't save them from fatigue because if they can't play out a full 16 game schedule plus playoffs then they aren't superbowl contenders. This is what separates the good teams from the bad. Guys that are willing to lay it out for the entire season and then some. So, do you think Peyton is pissed now? So pissed that he's going to go out and loose the next game or dare I say tear it up and rip apart the next team he has to face?! I'm telling you this is going to be either a hero or zero move on this coach's part. I just have a feeling this is going to keep the team from getting to comfortable and keep them on edge and ready to play. We'll just have to wait and see. It would be nice to get another crack at them and beat them down though. I kinda liked seeing Peyton pouting on the sideline but man I respect his ability and I wouldn't want to play a pissed off Payton with something to prove.

We shall see...only time will tell....I personally think they'll roll the 1st game. Its when they match up against San Diego that the wheels will come off....and I felt that before they lost last Sunday. |
