That "Top Site" thing on the bottom
 

OK - I'm starting to get bored with it again so I'll probably deep six it in a couple days again and bring it back in a few weeks, months, or a year (it was a year since I last did that type of stuff). So before I kill it - can everyone go and click on it everday for the next few days for the vote? Grins & giggles - I want to see how it goes...

I clicked on the #1 site they have listed, when I clicked on
'sw boats for sale' I got 4 popups, they just lost one viewer.

Just clicked & closed it 10 times boss, I get extra credit right?

It seems to rank based on unique visitors rather than banner clicks, doesn't it?

dunn did it!! funny i was just going to ask about that.some days we're high on the list and sometimes not.

Whenever someone gets on the site for the first time during the day, it increases the uniques count once per day for that user - but there is a different count for how many times it gets clicked on -

Now my own "unques" count on my own web software reads a little differently:

The bandwidth dropped a lot after compressing the pages before they were sent out.

The funny thing is last year when I did this we ranked about 21-22 on average - now we've been bouncing between 16 & 18 but the site is more than twice as busy as last year and I noticed that alot of the same sites from last year are in the same rough mix this year...
