The greatest Guinness ad ever!!
|
Greatest? It would have been better if the bottle were actually a poured pint in a glass. I refuse to drink Guinness from a bottle! Just finished my nightly poured pint from a can.

A decent pub in the US can pull it off if they really pay attention to their equipment, but the stuff you buy in a package store ain't the same thing. -spence |
Wish I had the proper tap at home, can't hit an Irish Pub every night for a pint. I find the draught in cans a satisfactory substitute but agree the pub tap is the no. 1 pour, especially if it is in Dublin with a shot of Jameson.

Why don't they show these ads in the U.S.? |

To pub Guinness!
Draught in cans a close (cheaper) substitute to feed the habit. Remember it is a diet beer, too, low in calories. |
By far the best beer commercial I have ever seen.

Good One!! I expected some trick ending but I guess its just what you think! :)

For those of you in the area, British Beer Company in Walpole has very good Guinness on tap. I was there Saturday night and tried one just for the heck of it and it was the best I've had since The Thatch in Randolph closed down years ago. Their Smithwicks on draft was also very good. Much better than the coffee colored water they tried to pass off to me as Smithwicks at the Varsity Club in Quincy last week.
