Chargers Jets

Really hope the Jet's hold onto this one. Have to love watchng LT moping on the sideline. Only thing better would be watching teh Pats stick it to him.

Raider Ronnie 01-17-2010 08:01 PM

Got to agree.
Not much of a fan of that whining LT

ProfessorM 01-17-2010 08:04 PM

no....i can't stand the jets (but i kinda like rex)....or the chargers or the colts.

striperman36 01-17-2010 08:39 PM

I'm with the Prof. I could never root for the green and white. It's almost like proxying for the Yanks.

Your worst nightmare? Have fun rooting for Peyton.

Goose 01-17-2010 09:29 PM

I had a hard time pickin a team to route for in this one but once Rivers got in the officials face after ruling of a interception, that confirmed it...I've always thought the Chargers are bunch of undisciplined babies who haven't won jack. Was LT in the stadium?? That San Diego zoo is something else.
Gooo_ _ _ _ _.....aw you know horse's:rolleyes:

wader-dad 01-18-2010 12:16 AM

Football is just incredible. You put your heart into a team for your whole life and you live and die and you say to yourself there is no freakin way you can win and your team with no stars ( except one) - just no name hard working blue collar types-with 100 yards of passing - beat the f-in pretty boy Chargers= what a feeling.

I can't imagine how it was for you guys winning all of those super bowls. Amazing.

What an upset. How did we win? How do teams miss 5 straight field goals and implode with stupid penalties. Did the Jets sell their souls to the devil again ? 3 1/2 hours of a good chapter in Jet history.

My kids always say why do you root for the Jets Dad- they stink. I said I can't help it -even if I tried I could not stop. Now at least for one game they think the Jets don't stink. GO JETS

FishnGrega 01-18-2010 01:23 AM

Next weekends AFC Championship game is going to be a love hate type of thing. Love to see the other team loose but hate to see the winning team in the SB.:smash::wall::yak5::fury:. On the flip side I'll be rooting for the Saints!

Team rock 01-18-2010 05:29 AM

Saints and cry baby "all about me Shockey", how can you root for him.
He just like cry baby Keyshaw . Left the Jets and got a ring, what he going to tell his cell mates in the future. Im great and play in the super bowl 3 catch`s and a pink slip!
Not trying change any body mind, but I alway like to see a devision team win.

afterhours 01-18-2010 07:49 AM

i hate the j-e-t-s.....but i like ryan, good defense, and a power running game. will the colts have second thoughts about leaving the door open?

ProfessorM 01-18-2010 09:26 AM

i have always luved the underdog so I will root for the jets. I was very dissapointed in the pats and then the cowgirls. so I got no horse in this race but will be pulling for any underdog left. I just hope they are exciting games. My neighbor is from Long island and a giant yanks and jets fan and the thought of him busting my balls with them winning both this year will be a fate i dread but if they do i will just congrat him as at least the jets win will be well deserved. the yanks thats a whole different ball game. J E T S :devil2:

I grew up on Long Island and if I had to estimate it, 98% of Jet fans are Met fans. Your neighbor may be the first I heard of. Goes back to when both teams played at Shea. Yankee fans are Giants fans.

So you can dislike the Jets because of Mangini and spygate or Mo Lewis knocking out Bledsoe- (but that worked out good for you guys) or just because they play the Patriots- but don't figure that Jet fans are the hated Yankee fans- I hate the Yankees too.

I like Sean Payton, Brees, Colston plus their defense is pretty unbelieveable too. I'm with you on disliking Shockey, but he's not the "go to guy" anymore and seems like he has shut his mouth for now. Besides the more times the show Kim Kardashian the happier I am lol.

Rex!? common! the guy threw his team under the bus saying that he was sorry that his team wasn't going to be making the playoffs. And the fact that he had the stupidest phone message for all of the NY people so that they can help them beat the Pats is pretty ridiculous. Sorry I can't stand the Jets and their obnoxious J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS chant. Sounds like a bunch of friggin cheerleaders in the stands. Mind as well give them all pom-poms while their at it.

rex wears his emotions on his sleeve, he's not always right but his team buys what he's selling he knows how to motivate his team...shoot me i like him....

PaulS 01-18-2010 04:02 PM

JETS JETS JETS JETS (where's my pom poms). I like Ryan also b/c he says what every other coach and player is thinking. I don't see anything wrong with it. 90% of the questions coaches/players are asked are stupid.

One of the Jets was saying how all of the players like him for that.

FishnGrega 01-18-2010 07:37 PM

If you have a winning coach anyone will drink the Kool-Aid.

You mean the rest of the team cried a lot and talked about being eliminated from the the Post-Season.....now I know why its tough being a Jets fan :hihi:

Well Jeff we all know you are a little different - a Montauk guy on a MA board.

I am concerned because Indy stopped the Raven running game. They are small but fast and hard to block. We need to ground and pound. How about we do this thing called a forward pass. It this thing where you throw the ball and someone catches it.
