Lamiglas CGBT96H

I am hearing that Lamiglas CGBT96H blank was discontinued.
Any input on what it was replaced with?
I am looking for an 8 Foot rod for cod.
Thanks!

yes, the blank was discontinued. i know of a couple of distributors i deal with that may have some in stock. they do special orders from time to time for this blank. if you are interested, i could check.

with that said, they have reintroduced the production rod again built on this blank - BL8050C.

other alternatives are some seeker composites people cut from 9' blanks. it also depends on where you are fishing, the method you wil lbe fishing, and the weights you will be fishing with.

SeaWolf thanks for the input!

BL8050C sounds like what I am looking but have heard it only has
a butt end of only 15". I'll have to check it out.

i dont know. i'd have to check it out since i havent seen a production model. 15" is pretty standard i think. how much longer do you need? i'd have to measure what mine normally are. i'm usually more concerned with an undersize fore grip on production boat rods.
