Two different people told me this morning that Obama's real name is Barry Sorrento..........with a straight face. Any truth to this.

I heard the same thing. He's actually Jewish but wanted to make believe that he's Muslim and would not present his birth cert. so the nut case conspiracy theorists would get elavated blood pressure and all die off.

Barry was his nickname when he was younger. Soetoro is the surname of his mother's second husband.

Of course it's all moot as his birth certificate is a forgery anyway.

I heard he was changing his name to Scott Brown

according to the Wiki Faux-bama Bio...he was "Barry" until he went to college...probably got more action with the ladies with a name like Barack Hussein Obama....sounds so "exotic"....there are also reports that he was registered in his school in Jakarta as Barry Soetoro...don't know when he went back to Obama...don't know alot about ole Barry....

It makes perfect sense for him to have registered under his step-father's name considering he was going to school in Jakarta.

Imagine had they discovered he was a Jew?

not sure that I've seen anyone suggest that Obama might be a Jew? Did he attend a Jewish school?...or have any Jewish parents that have recently surfaced or talk with George Stephanopolous about his Jewish Faith?

hey Spence, just to clarify, I don't think that the so-called "birthers" have claimed that Obama's birth certificate is a forgery...what they HAVE pointed out is that the only document that has been made available to the public is a "certificate of live birth" which is quite different from a long form birth certificate, which would include all of his birth information...this being such an historic presidency and all, you'd think that Obama would want his public to know as much as possible about his fabled life story...but rather...he and a team of lawyers have spent a tremendous amount of money and effort to seal and keep sealed his long form birth certificate....seems such a little thing to ask of the "Transparency President":rotf2:

The Certificate of Life Birth is a legal Birth Certificate and has been made available numerous times.

The State of Hawaii has confirmed Obama was born in that state.

That thing that Dad posted looks just like my car title issued in 2007 and nothing like a 1960's era birth certificate/certificate of live birth or anything else....I guess, from the info...we can certify that Obama was indeed born...and apparently born live................somewhere....
