For this year does RI have a saltwater license or permit needed like ct or mass?

Since I'm mainly a MA fisherman and I already have the Federal Angler Registry, I'm OK to fish RI waters, too, correct? |
You should be, but please don't take my word for it. There is a link from the NH F&G department that leads to a questionair about who does and does not need a license. Since I have a HMS permit for tuna I don't need a state license in NH.
Heres the link for who does and doesn't need to register. https://www.countmyfish.noaa.gov/register/ |

I've got both, I'll show them anything they want this year especially since the SW registry is free. Next year I have to buy the $10 MA SW plus the $20 HMS pelagic. |

Thats one of those "don't leave home without it" things. One doesn't mean your covered for everything. You still need all the correct permits unless exempted and the pelagic permit satifies the state requirements where I fish which is Maine, NH and Mass. |
