sun we fished on 4in of black hard ice on the cape ,great ice for jiggin perch. fishing was pretty good too . than rain and warm temps on tues. on wed johns pd was open water.that was fast,to bad the fish were bitin good,yellows up to 17 1/4in ....:rotf2: back to the main land

Nice to see your out there Dave! I had a feeling the ice would be gone quick given the rising temps? Its supposed to get darn cold again this weekend so.....maybe more ice for late weekend? Go get em'!

i don't think it can harden to a safe zone of 4 inches in a single weekend... and from everything i've been seeing lately spring is almost here....i even saw a red wing black bird yesterday.
