Another Reason This World Is Screwed Up!!!

How is it the former Governor of Illinois who was guilty of trying to sell the senate seat once held by Barak Obama is now a celebrity on television and not sitting in a friggin' prison somewhere??!!! :wall::fury: Just another example of how crime does pay!!!

We were just talking about this. You must have been watching the Office. We were all as disgusted as you seem to be.

According to the Chicago Sun Times, his trial date is set for "3 June 2010". Hopefully, he'll rot in a cell after that. Knowing the track record for corrupt politicians in the country, I wouldn't hold my breath.

Notoriety has its reward. It seems Americans are fascinated by it. That, in part, might explain why we aggrandize our "celebrities" and professional athletes with exorbitant amounts of money.

There have been many cases where judges imposed restrictions upon "criminals" (I think even before conviction) about their ability to earn $$ from their misdeads?

Unfortunately he hasn't been found guilty of his misdeed yet.....

Blago has no shame, none.

Just think of him this way.........after he is found guilty and hopefully sentenced to a long term away in a prison and the lights dim as he walks into his cell. Along comes Bruce and starts to run his hands through Blago's hair............lights out.
