Habs needle clam
You heard it here first folks. Forget the theory on a needlefish lure looking like a sand eel. Forget that it looks like a pipe fish, or a juvinile needlefish.. or even any fish at all.
Stripers think its a swimming razor clam. Who doesnt love clams? Im half joking here.. but check it out. I believe I am the first ever to make this connection and demand credit when the next wave of razor clam lures comes out :hihi: YouTube - Razor clam peruvian swimming |
Pretty interesting, you'll have to be given credit if the razor clam lure craze starts.

most excellent theory....
but will a bass grab a razor clam and crunch it ? and if they did..... wouldn't there be evidence of this on the shoreline of broken (crunched) razor clam shells? i do think the razor clam colors ...especially the end muscle for digging looked exactly like a single hook plug with a bucktail.
