Watched BJ Penn absolutely destroy Diego Sanchez last nite. What a total domination beat down ending with one of the nastiest gashes on the forehead from a kick I have ever seen. Penn is the best ever in that weight class. Good luck to he next fool to fight this guy.

BJ Penn is a beast.
Anybody see Herschel Walker's debut fight. At 47 years old, he won his first MMA fight. The guy is good. Not like some of the other crossover guys that think they can just jump on in.

Yeah we bought that card when it came out in December. You are correct about BJ. No one can touch him at Lightweight. Only problem is there is no one left in the UFC for him to fight at that weight. Next fight is against Frankie Edgar and who knows after that.

Me and my bro were rooting for BJ, and my cousin was rooting for Sanchez. When Penn caught him with that first shot and Sanchez went down, my cousin said "Oh Sh!t. This is over"

What impresses me more than anything when I watch Penn fight is most of his offense is counterpunches. I heard a staggereing stat from this fight. BJ Penn landed 150+ strikes. Diego Sanchez landed 7!!!

And Penn is not known for leg kicks either. Mostly punches.

yeah his take down defense is awesome and Sanchez is known for being able to take down and beat the hell out of guys and he looked like an amateur in this fight. I can't stand Sanchez and have never liked him so i was thrilled when he got the snot beat out of him. that cut was nasty. going to take some serious stitches to close that wound.


no i did not know Herschel was in MMA or at least one of his alter egos at least. I will keep a look out for him

That fight was awesome. I don't care much for Sanchez, so the outcome was great for me. Penn is amazing. He doesn't look like much physically compared to some other guys in his class, but he's a beast. Sanchez looked like he'd been through a war and Penn looked like he had just gone for a stroll in the park. He barely broke a sweat and never looked like he was getting anxious or excited.

Best knock out i've seen as of late is Bisping / Dan Henderson... that was brutal

Yeah Hendo's KO was sweet. I kept watching Bisping rotating to his left and told my friend "Hendo's gonna catch him with a right, it's just a matter of time", then WHAMMO!

i did not see that fight or heard of it . I hate that guy Bisping. He should have lost to that deaf kid Matt something, I can't remember his last name. Henderson is one of my favorites and was dissapointed when he lost to Silva. SO glad to hear he knocked that Brit out.
