most folks love it.. a social networking site... you can spend hours on there doing ...nothing..
unless you love to play games..(and share more of you information) playing farmville, fishville, or mafia wars..no thanks.

But Karl is right on with regards to Facebook. There are issues to be aware with regarding privacy. And Facebook needs your info to have ANY chance of living up to the "Billions" it is worth and needs to make profit on.

There are also the potential of viruses / malware / spyware propagated through Facebook. I don't think Facebook is instigating this as much as the virus kiddies using it as a vessel to launch viruses by nature of Facebook's M.O. of share everything.

So be careful on what you open, keep your computer up to date, and be sure to have current and updated anti-virus on your computer. One scam is for one of your "friends" to send you a link top another site saying something like "hey, I found this picture of you on the internet" then when you click on the link you get a virus! I never click on any link on facebook.

it has real time chat too....
although very few utilize it

Hehehe - i RARELY chat on facebook or anywhere period - Consider your self one of the actual handful I have chat with ;) - Not snobby, just little opportunity (wife cracks a mean whip)

Im on there... Put some of my videos on there. still working on updating my website...

It's a great communication tool, but like all tools you need to be careful -- you should see me with a hammer.

I've posted tons of underwater pictures and videos that can be easily accessed through my albums and I've kept in touch with a lot of friends from around the world.

I'm definitely a 'fan' of S-B and look forward to adding some fellow S-B posters as 'friends'.
