finally finished a small batch of stubby needlefish, heres the 3 colors i went with

they are just under 6" and i did some at 1.25oz and some at 1.75

the lighter ones are done with 3 equal weights, one in the tail, and then two more in the belly spread evenly for a relatively level fall

the heavier ones are the same, but with a bigger tail weight

Very nice. Small needles rock. Saw Flap take a 40lb fish this past fall on a plug very similar to your yellow one.

always loved a 6" needle in the spring ... last year at BI I learned they are great in the fall too .. especially when sand eels are present ... yours are most pissa ..
