Flaptail

I am looking to make some falptails for this year. Does anyone out there in plug nation have an xray of a large flaptail? Also curious how do you get the curved nose that I have seen in the old hedons? Looks like a pikie but they come in from both sides. Thanks Charlie

Make a "Lido" style Flaptail....no concave face! There are many styles of Flaptails....do some research!

I guessed and weighted mine just a back of center (for casting)with a tiny tail weight .. I'm hoping they sit on top,, fairly flat...

I really don't know any surfcasters in my neck of the woods who use flaptails? Are they productive? What type of water would you throw them in?
