last smelt trip for the season
 

the last smelt trip for the season turned into the last one for the camp as well. The shacks were leaning pretty good and some had their back end completely in the water. They said they'd be pulling them tomorrow morning.

Good news is that that means spring is SOOO close :)

Not much to show for the trip. A couple tommy cod's and 1 smelt. But at least we didn't get skunked.:wall:

a couple of years ago i took a step out of the camp and fell through the ice up to my knee. it's amazing that those camps don't fall through the ice

Bummer, I want to go one more time. Maybe further up the river will be more ice? MrHunters where did you go?
