who's got recommendations for granite counter top colors to compliment this. nice to hear other opinions sometimes.

i'm comitted to granite so please, no sales pitches on quartz, marble, etc.

They need to moderate your ass! I think this is the 4th thread on you kitchen this month!

to choose a color granite, take the door sample to the granite showroom and pick one out, I'm sure they can help you. It shouldn't be something you'd need a decorator for.
Light stained red birch sounds nice. I bet there are plenty that will go with that.

Take a door off the cabinets and bring it with you to the showroom.

Black goes with everything.
