Today someone asked me why I got to the PISC show every year. This simple question really got me thinking, which is never a good thing before I have my morning medicinal quantity of caffeine. :)

First, there are a lot of shows. Some good, some bad, and some just to "commercial". Second, Life does not allow me to attend them all. But, the show that I never miss is the PISC show. Why?
  1. Because it is a true grass-roots show with great speakers.
  2. Because I can connect up with old friends and make new ones.
  3. Because being in the company of people who are as passionate about fishing as I am is priceless!
  4. Because no matter how much I think I know about winching up fish from submerged structures, I always learn something new that helps me land more quality fish.
  5. Because trolling from table to table always produces great catches.
  6. Because I go home with a full stomach without breaking the bank.
  7. Because the proceeds help the Jr's program, which introduce our youth to the great sport we all love.

If you are able to attend this year's show, say hello. I will be wearing my signature fisherman's wool sweater.

Nice! I don't recall us calling you any names after various performances at TFCTFN or Cutty..... It does support the youth program...

Just sucks that the two events are on the same day, again...

Last year it was on the same day as Plugfest....this year we tried, and succeeded, in not having those 2 events overlap..... just not enough weekends in February.

BigFish 02-25-2010 07:17 AM

Its been the same day 3 out of the last 4 years.....trust me.:smash:
