Rapala Subwalk Plug

Anyone used the Rapala Subwalk in the salt? Another interesting concept coming over from sweetwater. I just saw this plug recently and Rapala now make's a 6 inch, 2 ounce size. Application is a sub surface (slow sinking) spook type action. Used to target muskie and pike. Looks like the trebles will need upgrading.

Any of you plug builders experiment with sub surface spooks?

DZ.... I have been making a versatile spook that can be fished sub-surface and swims with a side to side, darting action or can be walked on the surface,,,

My favorite way was sub-surface and it is pretty productive,,, There are a few guys around that have them,,,

RM Smith Strider is a surface or subsurface spook with great action.

I've made some accidently and they did well. Overweight a surf howdy or ballerina. Perfect for those shy fish that don't quite want to hit a popper, though they might hit a sinking superstrike swimming along.
