Anyone give this a read?

David Kinney, the author, follows a few people through the 2008 Vineyard Derby. Won't go into detail, but it was a great read and a perfect time of year to be reading about big bass, salty fisherman, and the humor, passion, and insanity this hobby brings to us all.

It's a quick read and quickly put me in the mood for this season!

just finished reading the book a couple days ago, took me 4-5 days to read, I could'nt put it down. Very colorful stories and a good history of the derby. Very well written and I'd definetly recommend it.

not one of my favorites

I got it for Christmas and read it in a couple of days. I liked it. I'm sure there was a lot of really good stuff that didn't make the book since most fishermen are pretty private. I particularly liked reading about some of the history of the Derby.
