Back Beach Striper Cup Thread
 

We haven't heard it yet, but a reliable source has informed me that we will soon hear banter from BB about his disdain for the Striper Cup and all things tournament related.His reasons are many, but I assume that once again we will be entertained with his opinions and convictions regarding the state of the fishery.Approximately six weeks following his diatribe a secret backroom deal will be struck,influenced by cigars and homemade wine resulting in an about face which will conclude in his carrying Redlites cooler somewhere off the coast of New Bedford.

I'm in, I've already decided...end of thread.

Now we can elaborate further (on MY thread above or below, wherever it is) on who's fishing for who, sponsorship perks ranging from tee shirts, tins of skoal,
rock star beverages, water taxi passes, unlimited live eels, and unopened packages of snelled hooks with dry rotted leaders and the like...why, there's enough incentives this year to lure even the most tournament weary curmudgeons into a call to arms...
