I plan on fishing the weport river as much as i can this summer for tog and stripers. I am new around and would appreciate any tips you all have.:fishin:

Go out a couple of times at low tide during the day. Parts of the river can get tricky even in the daytime. I have ended up on sandbars at night a few times in the fog. The channel gets real narrow and windy. I'd stick to sping and fall.
