Gear for ur TROOPS
 

I am running a fishing derby for my sons Cub Scout Pac. As an entry fee each child has to bring something fishing related to send to our Troops over seas. I have found out that there are places to fish but they don't have the gear. I got the US postal Service to donate the postage to ship, and I have some local stores donate some stuff. I've collected 80-100 fishing mags and now we're gathering as much gear as possible. At the end of the derby we are taking a group picture of our Pac and sending it with a letter of appreciation. If any one has some old gear or stuff the just don't use and would like it to go to a good cause, send it to Iraq with us.

I have an older surf rod it's 10' 2 piece custom wraped & it's a spinner you can have,I'll be in Westport this Sunday so I can bring it down,I can also bring that 9'Avid surf you've been wanting:grins:

Westportmafia...as for the mags, we could have each kid hold one for the group pic that would be awesome. But really, we're all set with mags. The weight gets too costly to ship.
