Lawn Care attn Landscapers

All:

Looking to not break the bank, but want to help my lawn along this spring. it was sodded last year (when house was built) and we watered like crazy keeping it looking good all season.

What do you guys recommend to give it a boost in the spring? Scotts? Something similar?

If you can still find Scotts Winterizer (promotes root growth) go for in now otherwise just plain turfbuilder. By mid-May put down Scotts with HALTS to prevent crabgrass (preemergent so it is important it is down before ground temp reaches 65d.) Since you have a recent sod yard controls weeds by spraying something like weed-be-gon, don't fool around with the fertilizer plus weed killer (pellets must stick to leaves of the weeds to be effective).

I have attached complete written lawncare guide if you are interested. I am not a pro but my neighbors are envious of my lawn and I don't water at all.
