Just finished swimming these in the pond. They're 7.5" and 4 oz. Made from EWP.
I used an old musso sr. diver as a template and put additional belly weight(.75 instead of .5 the original had) Thanks to all here for putting up with me this winter and especially for all the good advice. I think these plugs brought my cost average down to $100 per plug, so I'm slowly recouping my intitial investment...:hee: |
You have recouped it in your enjoyment.......you will be on the upside after you start hanging fish off em'! Nice work all winter!:uhuh:

Great job Mike:uhuh:

Look good to me. :buds:

Sweet!
100 bucks per plug eh? that means I have 2 plugs worth 100 bucks each hmmmmm, better not lose them to bluefish or bad knots. |
You're about as done as a Sheryl Crowe with a 1/2 empty case of condoms. The urge will soon return.
|
Did you make that grey color? looks fishy... I think you conquered the learning curve BB

You'd never know you're a first year builder with the plugs you've made this year. Great job all around, Mike! I'm looking forward to posting a pic of a nice, healthy bass with the white Back Beach danny hanging from it's mouth. You definitely have a real talent for plug building.

look great Mike.

good, now puts those silly things down and start sharpening your eel hooks.
