BigFish Bike Ready!

3 Attachment(s)
Got my computer up and thought I would post a few pics of my canal bike! I think its ready for fish! My favorite part is the fish board! I figured with the wasted space between the baskets that it would be a great place to mount a board to carry fish as opposed to in the basket from one side to the other! So after noticing the size of my sons skateboard deck was just right and I liked the flared ends I went out and picked up a new deck at a bike/board shop for $20.00!:kewl:It more evenly distributes the weight, does not take up valuable gear space in the baskets and ct as a fender to keep the rain off my back on rainy days!

I wish I saw you in that parking lot taking a picture of your bike! :rotf2: Geek! Keep in mind though this is coming from a jealous geek! Seriously though, NICE RIDE! :uhuh:

STREETFIGHT 04-16-2010 08:43 AM

NICE RIDE

Swimmer 04-16-2010 08:48 AM

Thats big enough for Matt and Joe to hitch a ride back to their trucks on.

Take one more pic of the rear most bike stand will ya. AND WHERE DID YOU GET IT.

Dad 818 04-16-2010 09:20 AM

Great, ya had to take up 2 spots with your bike?

Nice ride!

The Dad Fisherman 04-16-2010 09:28 AM

Brilliant idea w/ the Skateboard......Its not patented, correct....because I may steal it

decksweeper 04-16-2010 09:30 AM

that thing is sweet...

BigFish 04-16-2010 09:57 AM

Steel away Kevin! I attached it to the basket with neoprene clips I got at Lowe's. I will post a pic of them tonight! They work perfectly!

Frank....just a piece of pvc and a dowel!

BigBo 04-16-2010 10:08 AM

They let you through the drive-thru on that? :rotf2:
Don't leave it unattended in the parking lot loaded with gear. I speak from experience. :smash:
Where are the streamers and bell?

one small comment

Larry,

That bike is set up quite nicely, but, If you intend to ride with waders (or baggy pants) that bar (as it is set on all mens bikes) might not let you swing your leg over too easily. Ladies bikes with the "low bar" eliminates that scenario.

Lookin' good though.:jump1:

bassballer 04-16-2010 10:32 AM

nice looking wheels!

The more that I look at that bike, the more that I like it. I will add a "flatbed" to mine, too.
