Allstar 1208
 

WTB Allstar 1208 USA Blank GSW1208 or spinning rod with this blank.

I just wrapped up a Batson sw1208 last night and I am very impressed. CMS has a bunch at a very low price.

I'm no expert but if I'm thinking correctly I would go with their SU1208 if I can't find an allstar. My understanding is the SU rating is 2-6oz and the SW is only up to 4oz?

That's correct. The SW1208 is rated 1-4, and the SW1209 is, I think, 3-6. The SW series is a bit more moderate in action than the SU. I had an Allstar 1088 that I sold because it was too stiff and fast for my liking(would have liked it better as a conventional). Check out the Batsons, you won't be dissapointed.
