So called "waterproof glues" on seams and stuff

Anyone have any reports on the so called waterproof glues (e.g. Gorilla Glue, Elmers Waterproof Glue, etc) they sell today and how they work on Wader/jacket seams and stuff.

My neoprene waders seem like one of the seems may be a little weepy so I was thinking of trying it out since the glue seems liquid enough to do the entire seem.

Comments appreciated

My only experience is aquaseal - worked well so far.

What Ivan said. Aquaseal is made for neoprene. Why reinvent the wheel?

I had great luck with fixing neoprenes using thick ca and spray accelerator. You could "weld" the tear right back together again. Very strong and tears have never leaked or opened again.

Frank if it's just for neoprene you might try the stuff they repair wetsuits with. I think it stays flexible which might be good if you are putting it on the entire length of the seam. I've used it for wetsuit repairs and so far so good.
